A 3v3 Live Sanctioned Tournament has met a set of operational and safety standards to guarantee a consistent playing environment so that coaches, parents, players and all other event attendees will know what to expect from each event.
Sanctioning Benefits
- Rights to use 3v3 Live Sanctioned Logo: Add our “3v3 Live Sanctioned Event” logo seal to your website, registration page and/or promotional material. This will instantly add credibility along with letting teams know what benefits, like National Ranking Points and Pathway to Nationals, they will receive by participating in your event.
- Listed on 3v3 Live Event Directory: As a sanctioned event, 3v3 Live will add you to our event directory with a link back to your website as well as post your event to our Facebook Events page.
- Participating Teams added to National Rankings: All of your participating teams will be added to our National Rankings after your event and will earn points based on how they finished. Teams can then see where they stand against other teams in their division from around the country. Teams ranked in the Top 25 nationally (or top 2 from their state) receive invitations to the 3v3 Live National Championships.
- Opportunity to qualify for Regional and National Events: Teams that finish your event in the top 3 for their division will be invited to play at the nearest 3v3 Live Regional Championship event, with winners earning FREE ENTRY into the 3v3 Live National Championships
- Insurance: Average insurance can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars per event, but as an official 3v3 Live Sanctioned tournament organizer you can request inclusion in our $3,000,000 liability insurance program for only $199 to be used for facility rental and other uses!
Sanctioning Requirements
- 3v3 Live Event Standards: 3v3 Live sanctioned events need to meet a set of operational and safety standards to guarantee a consistent playing environment so that coaches, parents, players and all other event attendees will know what to expect from each event. While the actual operations may vary for each event owner, running safe events with accurate marketing and timely payments to officials and/or teams where applicable is a minimum standard and we reserve the right to reject future sanctioning from organizations not meeting said standards to our discretion.
- Software requirements: 3v3 Live Sanctioned events must use 3v3 Live approved website for registration, scheduling, and scoring
- Display 3v3 Live Sanctioned Event Logo: As a 3v3 Live Sanctioned event, you will have the right to use the Sanctioned Event logo. This should be added to all promotional materials along with being displayed on the event registration page. You can also add it to other things like onsite banners and brackets.
- Track Record: To officially be promoted and backed by 3v3 Live, your event must have a proven track record of meeting our minimum event standards and generally accepted as a quality event. First year events are generally not accepted for new directors.
- Date and Location: Sanctioned events are held to a higher standard due to our backing and promotion and therefore will be subject to approval for date and location in order to be accepted. Any event believed to be in competition with other sanctioned events within a similar date range and location will be subject to rejection at the discretion of the 3v3 Live staff.
3v3 Live reserves the right to approve or reject events based on previous event history and organizer relationship.
